Curtin Malaysia Teaching Innovation Project (CMTIP) Scheme 2023 round
The “Curtin Malaysia Teaching Innovation Project” (CMTIP) scheme is a seed fund aimed at encouraging academic staff at Curtin Malaysia to apply innovative approaches in teaching and learning. In particular, the fund intends to support academic staff to develop initiatives that improve learning and teaching practice, increase student engagement and enhance student learning experiences at Curtin Malaysia.
A CMTIP fund in the 2023 round is worth RM3,000. Please note that successful projects will run from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 strictly. No requests for extensions will be entertained.
Approved projects are required to be submitted for ethics approval before the commencement of data gathering, if applicable.
Approved projects will also be required to disseminate their outcomes through appropriate Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) or University Social Responsibility (USR) projects, where applicable. Otherwise, project outcomes may also be disseminated through journal or conference publications. Please note that evidence of dissemination of project outcomes will be required at the end of the project.
Applications are to be prepared according to the application form, and each application must have a signed Statement of Support from the applicants’ Head of Department, Associate Dean Learning and Teaching or equivalent or Faculty Dean.
